Your post has some good points, but look at the situation.

I doubt these players you mention cold call the button 3 or 4 handed in this spot. They might, but is it live? sometimes those games play differently than the super aggro online ones.

Anyways, cold calling out of position maybe, but w/ the button in an aggro high stakes LHE game i dont really understand why you would ever coldcall here, unless its something you mix into your game a lot (which IMO in itself would be a leak this shorthanded, no matter what your hand is. your just giving up way too much)

the fact of the matter is, when the game is this aggressive, you play a ton of hands. Preflop deception is already there inherently, u dont need to be cold calling hands (of course, unless in the BB etc)to achieve this. Besides, for whatever little deception it may or may not get u, your giving up very important advantages like togni said- your opportunity to play a HU pot in position w/ initiative.
