Default Lost on turn with AK oop -200 NL 6MAX

I picked this hand up doing some PT-homework, so i don't have a clear picture of villain anymore. According to PT he is a 25/22 (Vpip/PFR). What do you do on turn?

Hero in the BB($218)
Villain UTG+1($417)

CO posts $2, blinds posts, UTG folds, Villain raises to $9, all fold, I raise to $30 in the BB holding AcKc, Villain calls,

flop: 3h Td 9c

I bet $42, villain calls

Turn 8c

Pot is 140-something, i have 140-something behind

Hero ?

Comments on all streets appreciated, elaboration the most, tx

You will get called almost always if you push. Check and hope he checks behind.

Meh, without a read I probably check/fold the turn

After he calls your preflop 3bet and your flop cbet, I think he's usually on a set or an overpair, occassionally a stubborn underpair (which is likely to check the turn anyways). If he's very floaty and requires multiple barrels routinely I don't mind a shove, but without that kind of read I don't think anything changed on the turn (plus the straight draw got there), so I'm not inclined to think he's going to fold on this card. (I doubt he has TPTK given preflop, and if he called with top pair it was probably JTs which now picked up an OESD and ain't going anywhere prolly).

well, lets be quick with this one then since i agree with both your comments, and i just wanted to see my thoughts confirmed about the hand.

In reality however, i shoved and he folded Life can be like that sometimes lol. When i was just looking at it in PT, i had a disgusting look on my face nonetheless.

some FE (people saying you are almost always getting called, im not sure if i agree with that), some nice outs (i still think that A/K outs are pretty clean for the most part).

i think that if villan had like QQ+ or whatever, they are often shoving this flop. i think he either has a marginal hand that is scared (ie. 77/JJ/whatever) or a set/sometimes air. i think you can get plenty of hands to fold. the 8 isnt the best card to bluff (hit 88/gives JJ more incentive to call) but whatever.

I prob shove here especially given he bet the flop, what are you gonna do, give up so that if you miss your flush you just have to make a less believeable bluff or just fold like a wimp?
