Default QQ tell me my mistakes.

I lost this pot to a hand that was quite suprising at the end. Maybe I didnt bet the flop enough.. Let me know how to prevent this from happening again. Then again my turn check looks horrible as well.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (6 handed) Poker Stars

SB ($77.65)
BB ($90.85)
Hero ($128.50)
MP ($110.40)
CO ($211.50)
Button ($125.75)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
Hero raises to $4, 1 fold, CO calls $4, 2 folds, BB calls $3.

Flop: ($12.50) 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $7, CO calls $7, BB raises to $14, Hero calls $7, CO calls $7.

Turn: ($54.50) T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
BB checks, Hero checks, CO checks.

River: ($54.50) 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)

$12 on flop, and given the way the flop played out, I'd 3bet and get it in. Fold river

After looking at this tell me if I am on the right track.

Maybe a bigger bet preflop to define hands better.

Flop bet should really be more pot sized or at least 3/4.

Turn check is disgusting now that I see I did it.

Did I answer my own post? Still want to hear your thoughts.

I actually think the turn is the least of you problems. Preflop is fine too.

The flop bet size is sortof ok if your trying to induce a raise and b3b but if your plan is b/c then your flop bet is completely terrible.

My guess is you misread his hand the whole way because to him your flop bet looked super weak. If you bet 12 and he raises and you decide not to 3b (which is still questionable) checking the turn actually is ok imo.

Betting bigger preflop is silly, but betting more on the flop is def the way to go. 3/4 is fine. I would bet the turn but I don't hate your check. River I would definitely bet instead of c/c, since people would call a bet with a naked pair, but not bet it themselves ya know?

Your flop is fine but I hate your turn check. Three way, given board, the flop c/r'er has checked, you have a marginal holding - you should feel confident betting knowing you're going to muck once/if you get raised; unless you feel you're toast on the turn in which case you should not be calling the river bet.

Reads?

Pf fine. FLop bet 3/4.

A chk min raise into 2 players usually screams strength. So i'm either reraising it there and then to find out where I am and also because I don't want co to come along for the ride, or i'm folding.
