I just started playing seriously on pokerstars last week (if you can call shortstacking serious). Making supernova elite is pretty much imposible in 4.5 months, right? I think if I 12 tabled NL100 for every hour left in the year I would just miss it.

If you work lawyer hours you can, can't you? Like, 80 hour weeks? If you're going to clear 500K VPP, then if you played twice as many hours you'd make SNE, no? Of course, you'd probably lose a few years off of your life, and I'm not suggesting that it's a good idea, just that it's theoretically possible. When I said all the hours left in the year, I meant all the hours, which of course is impossible.

If you're talking about me, I play a lot of live, mostly $2/5 and before that $1/2. But not anymore at least until I hit supernova and give up my retarted ambitions for SNE. I played limit for years, though, so maybe that's the way to go for VPPs. Whatever.

Anyway, I didn't mean to thread jack. Congrats on the 300K. It's pretty inspiring.
