Default Are the Cards on Pokerstars Random?

It is my opinion that they are not even close to random. Anyone that wants to dispute this can take a look at my database.

No they're definitely not random.

They are exactly the same, in the same order on each corresponding day of the month. ie 4th February's cards are exactly the same as those dealt on 4th March. There was an article in the New York Times a couple of years back on how Poker Stars refused to pay for the top-level random number generator and settled for the next grade down.

Before you get any bright ideas of tracking each night's cards- they do change when the cycle starts (ie 9am one month, then maybe 4pm on the same day the next month)

Oh man, I gotta get online. On Dec. 27th at 3:54 p.m. I made a straight flush against a flush and a full house and tripled up. It's gonna be a good night. Thanks for the tip!!!

No worries!

Just sit a your PC from 00:00 on the 27th of any month and wait to see that situation come up. As soon as it does, just use your Poker Tracker database to see the next cards to be dealt. PLEASE don't tell too many people about this though- don't want Stars changing their system.
