It's definitely more CPU intensive.

I've had problems playing more then 5 tables at party after the upgrade. All tables freez up all of a sudden, they come alive after few seconds (up to 10-15 secs sometimes) but it's very annoying and has led to me timing out several timies in the middle of hands. At the moment I dont play more then 3 tables at party abecause of this.

Has anyone experienced this? Anyone have a solution to teh problem?

And I don't think it's my computer that's bad, I have 1,5 GB RAM and a 3,2 gHz CPU

You can also disable animation.

I also got the feeling the tables are a bit faster.
Makes sense. More hands/hr = more rake. Even if its just 2-5% itīs a lot more for party in the long run.

Wait, is the OP talking about the software itself being faster (and more efficient), or the speed of the game, in terms of hands/hour?

I play with the 4 colour deck but now I notice that diamonds are dealt red but then a nanosecond later change to blue. It's very annoying.

Yeah especially when you have a heart draw that you think just got there..

FWIW [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]'s are the same way, they come off black 1st then change to green. It's just that red to blue is more noticeable then black to green.

i used to play long sessions 8 and 9 tabling prepatch
i'm having trouble not slipping up with 7 now, playing with 6 mostly, but hopefully my hands/hour doesn't go down... thats all that really matters in the end

I really meant more hands/hr. At least that is what I think I mean. I jsut found it harder to 6-table, perhaps there is another explanation as to why it was more strenuous, but I would imagine it is because the hands move faster.

It kind of seems to me that the play timer comes up faster than before. I start to scramble a littel bit when that timer comes up on a bunch of table at the same time. That never really happened to me much before. With the new software I am frequently just getting my plays in with 5-6 seconds left, I never used to be close to timing out ever.

Why do I feel like I have to click the button 20 times sometimes, even when the table is clearly the front application?

The new "antislip" software meant to prevent misclicks. I hate it too.
