Re: I still don\'t know how to play AA.
Ugh, I don't like this either, and it's harder for me to play 3-way than heads up. I tend to over estimate what my opponents have.
Anyhow, my instinct tells me to check. The button is whom I'm most worried about. If button has a worse hand, I think he'll usually check behind. Then, if a brick falls on the river, I'd make a good sized value bet to get QQ and KK to call. If I check, and button puts out a sizeable bet, then I might fold (depending on the size of his bet and any other reads I might be able to get). I'd like to hear how this one turned out. |

bet like 750... def don't want to be pot here imo. (obviously call an all in).

Re: I still don\'t know how to play AA.
I would try to get all of my money in there. REALLY tough spot, but I believe that someone with a set would raise on such a draw heavy board. That was pretty much my determining factor is thinking bet and call an all-in. Hopefully you see KK and AK[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
Really curious to see results! |

Re: I still don\'t know how to play AA.
Two ways I employ AA here when I'm 200bb's deep...
I bet something closer to $375 on this flop. I sometimes call UTG if I'm UTG+1 and I know I have a "very LAG" Button and preferably a equally LAG blind somewhere in there. Shove when they squeeze. Pout and grumble when they don't. As for the turn, damn, thats rough. I check it. This allows you to see the button's action, and then possibly UTG's action as well. If you're intent on getting it all-in versus the button, then at least now you will capture some bluffs as well. God willing the button checks, I think you're in for an easier river decision. |

Re: I still don\'t know how to play AA.
im betting 1k on the turn. looks like you're up against KK/QQ. if either of them had a set or some monster draw they're gonna raise that flop most likely. turn is a good card for you

Re: I still don\'t know how to play AA.
All,
Thanks for the replies so far. I really wasn't worried about UTG since only hand he could have that beats me is JJ, he check-raises an overpair and dumps TT and such, but Button's presence in this hand made things interesting. Thing I hated about checking turn is that it is an extremely draw-heavy board and I knew I will not like most river cards, plus Button is LAG but I thought he would be smart enough to peel with all worse hands (thus I'm just giving him a chance to catch up cheap) and bet with everything else ...oh, and I wasn't folding anyway. Results will be dissapointing: I bet 750 on the turn and they both folded. But since I almost timed out while trying to figure out what to do on that turn, I figured I'll post the hand Kirk |
