Default Must-Have Wii Games?

I've been out of the loop since around the time the Wii launched but I just picked one up the other day.

Are there any must-have games? From everything I can find most of the games seem good but not great so far.

From what I've found strikers came out today. Online multiplayer sounds cool.

Has anyone played Elebits? It looks intriguing.

i enjoyed elebits; good controls in 1-player mode (multiplayer is annoying as only one person controls camera for all players)

u can create ur own levels and share them

my next two purchases are strikers and re4...then metroid in august

madden/fifa/tiger come out in august as well, then mario in november and smash in december

eb games advertised that mario strikers release date was today, but the standard is basically: movies, games, cds, etc come out on tuesdays.

i've called all eb stores in my city and they're like "no that doesn't come out until the 30th...wait...that's today...well we haven't received it yet."

I'm liking Excite Truck, though I've always been a fan of racing games. Paper Mario is kinda fun, and it's a good concept, but it's not a game that I want to keep playing. After playing the Wii for a little while I find myself going back to Tetris Attack. Games just aren't very addicting these days.

Outside of the typical 'party' type games like Mario Party and Super Monkey Ball, the only game so far that I've played from a beginning to end is Super Paper Mario.
