Yeah seriously, I'd almost say business is more of a major for people who don't know what they want to do over English/Comm. A lot of the kids I know in those two majors want to do some kind of teaching, writing, or have plans to go to grad school. Most business kids I know don't have a clue but just wanted a chance to start out with 50k.

Schools known for business can get you a very good job right out of school while a business degree from xx State holds far less weight.

I guess I'm just saying that general hating on certain majors by other majors is pretty damn stupid without all of the relevant info (schools involved, what the person actually likes to do, etc.).
