I had about 2000 playing 1/2 with 300 cap one night at the shithole cardroom in the Hiltion.
We were just looking for a place to play and get drunk and found this room with only 3 tables going. sat next to this asian guy who had been pushing the table around all night and didn't realize that I actually knew how to play. I bought in for 200 and in 2 1/2 hours later walked out up $1700. about 1400 from the asian guy to my left. One of those once in a lifetime trips.

I've been around 1200 a few times at 200 buyin.
The biggest I've seen was this crazy lagfish woman who lotto gambled a 200 buyin to around 2400 in about 2 hours. I've never seen another rush like it.

A big-name poster here once got up to, I believe, $2700 at the Foxwoods $1/$2.
This was back when it was a $40-to-$100 buyin. He's very good at poker. --Nate

I don't know about biggest stack, but I was down to three $1 chips and my .50 piece card protector in a 1/2 NL game before.

~3k at the Borgata, which has a 300 cap buyin for 1-2NL.

Just a little over 14 racks of red at MGM $1/2 NL w/ max buy in of $200 last August just after the WSOP. The guy wasn't a great player (he would call a pot bet on the turn w/ a flush draw, and no implied odds).

The first day they spread NL at Casino Regina a dude at 1/2 NL (200 max) had over $2100 in reds plus a few whites. Having them stacked in 20s he had no place to put his cards.
