**Official NFL Survivor Pool talk thread**

I know many people do these, and so I thought I would start a topic for one. Talk about the best teams to take every week, and lets see if we can all win some monies.

Anyway, week 1 seems tough. I'm thinking the best choices would be Seattle at home against TB, or Minny at home against ATL. Any other thoughts?

Tough opening week. Yah the Jags vs. Tenn along with the 2 games you mentioned are the only 3 options IMO. I actually feel more 'comfortable' w/ Jax than the other 2. Minny I like a lot ATS but there's obv. some concern about their young QB; and Seattle is somewhat tough to trust vs. a Tampa team that I think will be less awful than others think.
Looking at the remaining schedules though, I was surpised that Jax has more "easy" games than Seattle, so I'll probably go w/ Seattle.

I wouldn't go anywhere near Minnesota and Tavaris Jackson, even against Atlanta.

Seattle is the best bet for week 1. Some people like Tampa a little this year (I don't) but there aren't any great survivor picks for this week, and you don't mind using up Seattle in week 1 at all.

In week two I would take Pittsburgh over Buffalo. Not a great survivor pick either, but if you do that it sets up an excellent run for the following weeks:

Week 3: Philly over Detroit
Week 4: San Diego over Kansas City
Week 5: New England over Cleveland
Week 6: Chicago over Minnesota
Week 7: New Orleans over Atlanta

Then it gets tricky, but it's usually over by then.

You generally don't want to take road teams in these things unless you have to.
