did I misplay this?
It is 0.25NL
I have JTo (suits will not matter) in BB. I have $10, UTG has me covered. The UTG raises to $1 third time in a row. I reraise to $2, he - to $5, I call. Flop: Q T 3 (all different suits) I go all in, he calls. Is this play insane, partially so, or not? |

Re: did I misplay this?
1. Buyin full.
2. Flatcall or fold pf. I'm new round these here parts but flat-calling is probably fine with a fullstack. |

Re: did I misplay this?
You can't do what you did preflop with a short stack. Either learn how to play short or learn how to play poker with a full stack.
When you do speculative things preflop in NL, you are "bucking the odds" and putting money in with the worst of it usually. You are doing so, hoping to hit a hand, and then via implied odds get that hand paid off. When you have a short stack, you don't have enough money behind to get paid off enough to make up for the preflop speculation. Playing like this with a short stack will put you in Broke City real quick. |

Is it fine to flatcall this pf with a fullstack? [/ QUOTE ] Suited would be better and the default would be to probably fold. However, if you can play postflop and not go overboard with top pair it's OK to get involved here sometimes. Moreso if you have any kind of read on Villian. |
