Don\'t talk to me about preflop
There are a bunch of morons in this game and limping UTG is perfectly fine.
SB is one of those morons. 50/18/2.5 over 350 WtSD - 41/48 Overplays hands. BB is a tightish TAG 27/10/2 WtSD of 28/63 Absolute Poker Limit Holdem Ring game Limit: $3/$6 5 players Converter Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is UTG with J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Hero calls, CO folds, Button calls, SB calls, BB checks. Re: Don\'t talk to me about preflop
Preflop is fine given your description of the table.
I just call on the turn. Villain's hand looks like at least two pair to me. Edited for misreading the hand...again. |

Re: Don\'t talk to me about preflop
I don't like it. I'd rather wait and get our bets in on the river if we hit our draw. when BB raises, I'm not that confident that we have the best hand at all.

Re: Don\'t talk to me about preflop
BB bet the flop 4-way and then raised a tard's donkbet on the turn. However, I still don't expect to have the equity to 3-bet here. Every possible two pair hand is in his range.

Re: Don\'t talk to me about preflop
Raising the flop here is pretty bad because you are going to blow out the field when you dont want to.

Re: Don\'t talk to me about preflop
It's not pretty bad because BB could be able to find a fold with a pair on the turn. I don't feel strongly either way, it's just definitely not "pretty bad."

Re: Don\'t talk to me about preflop
I'm not crazy about your situation on the turn. I don't see how you're going to be ahead of BB very often. I guess if he's sick of SB, then you may be ahead more often than I think.

Re: Don\'t talk to me about preflop
I wont talk to you about preflop, but please talk to me about it! I like the idea- makes sense. What were the stats of the other players? Several pretty loose passives, I assume? Better than raising b/c your hand plays well multi, you'll get paid off, etc. I am curious about this. In the games we play on abs, where there are often several really bad players in a game, perhaps we can limp with a lot more hands like this, if we know there will be 3 or 4 in every hand? How low can we take this idea? any pair? 57s, etc? curious...
