i don't think many 'unknown' players are gonna jam in 2 buyins with air in this spot. too many big spades are unaccounted for imo and i would reluctantly fold here.

If this was 6 handed, I'd snapfold this. But it's 3 handed, and we have a set, so I like folding way less.

Echo the above that unknown players are unlikely to be doing this with complete air. Granted that players would likely bet the turn with pair+flush draws, but unfortunately the river raise suggests he took a different approach.

I don't think a call here is outrageous. We're getting better than 2 to 1, and for all the reasons an 'unknown' won't show up with air here, they might very well show up with KQ/KT/QT/22/AA. Especially three handed. I don't think the 3-bet pre-flop can be leaned on to take that much out of the range. I wouldn't be surprised if villain showed up with K4 here occasionally.

I mean I can see why you would want to call but given your read on him which is 'does weird things in weird spots' I feel a fold is correct b/c his turn checking behind range is seemingly wide making the flush or straight a good possibility.
Whereas i think a more TAGish player would more often bet that turn with a combo draw / turned straight.

i think he's either got a flush or is bluffing it. if he had a made hand on the turn he's betting with these stacks (or at least should)

i probably call.

If i had a "he does weird stuff" read, I wouldn't fold.
