Im making a moderately sized bet on the turn $6-$7 and if Im called again Im probably gonna check the river. If I get pushed on I can probably call here

Should have bet out on the flop, or as it was played raise more.
As played bet 7-9$ and call a shove.

Another thing, if you are going to play this hand passively, then I would suggest a call on the flop and evaluate the turn to see where you are.

Pre-flop, I would have raised his raise, to take back the role of the aggressor.

On the turn, bet the pot.

i dont like the flop c/r. if you bet out and get raised youre probably beat on that board, and at least you know where you are quickly.

as played i lead out turn for around 3/4ts pot and fold to an AI

I cant see re raising preflop oop. I thought the check raise on the flop would either let me take the pot cheaply or he would push and i could get away easily from the hand. when he called i was unable to put him on a hand and didn't want to stack him. especially since 3bets preflop at 25nl usually mean AK/QQ+

First of all, JJ is a tough hand to play. Preflop is obviously a call, even for set odds and you don't want to reraise there unless you are really sure what you are doing.

Then comes the postflop mess. Think about his hands in ranges. JJ+/AK is a standard tight 3bet range. Maybe it is wider, like TT+/AQ+. Anyway, he has a bigger pocket pair or overs most of the time. Your little raise on flop is ok, you might get some info and you aren't giving a freecard for overs. I would prefer a call though and try to stay sane in the complications. Now you got some info but I don't really know what it means. Would he 3bet overpairs in fear of overcards? Can he call with AK, he actually has the odds. I think I either check/fold or check/call the turn now.

In conclusion, preflop is standard. I prefer flop call because your raise doesn't accomplish that much and our hand is marginal at best. Turn I check and try to stay sane... If I could put villain on a wider range I would be more aggressive. But I can't.
