Default Please help. (HHs included)

I'll be brief - down 15 buyins at 1/2nl this month, I have no clue what is going on. I was a 10ptbb/100 winner at 100nl and have been testing 1/2nl since the beginning of August with now quite negative results (was a slight winner throughout August). If you can, please go over these hand histories from this evening (-5 buyins) and provide some advice on my lines. Also, feel free to recommend whether or not I'm a strong enough player to consistently win at 200nl or if I should stick to 100nl. Thanks.

I run at 19/12, so my image is pretty TAG.

play more, post less hands / post cuz nobody is going to read 6 hands... including myself. the first one is obviously a 9 tho. if i were u i would chill back at 100 until u get the hang of things a little more than u do now, also 15 buy ins in a month isnt THAT bad... but if it hasnt been like 400 two outters... u should prb hang back at 100 for another 30k hands or so

In the first one I made the nut flush on the river - obviously barring my flush I would have folded the river. I guess I should have just folded the turn to his reraise? Easy fold there?

omg #10 is so terrible

but according to the hand histories I think you're calling way too much in marginal spots where you get miniraised and you try to bluff too much. play solid game and get back to nl100 to rebuild (both bankroll and confidence) and then take another shot at nl200

Rush,
I read through them all. Unfortunately I'm not in the best position to offere advice, I started playing $1/$2 NL 6 handed at the start of July. 17,000 hands later I was up $7k but have since given back about $1.5k over the next 4,000 hands. I didn't think I was doing too much different, maybe I have been guilty of concentrating a bit less and becoming slack.
However having read through your histories this is pretty much what has been happening to me, my continuation bets on weak holdings or even top pair get called or reraised, if I get to a showdown I see the nuts or close to it. I know I am getting reraise and check raise bluffed on flops but I can never seem to pick them off.

My strategy from now on has been to play some S&Gs earlier in the evening then play only two tables of cash, focus and I've also switched from GT+ to Poker ace HUD so I can see players check raise / Cont bet raise frequencies.

some are these are godawful.

And I'm pretty sure you're losing money from playing poorly.

in hand 8 fold the flop or check/fold the turn

hand 10 is awful and I hope you were just tilting

I just moved up to 1/2 myself so take this for what its worth. Also, over how many hands were you winning 10ptbb at 100NL?

If you want deeper advice, post these hands individually.

1. I think its ok

2. c/r all in would prolly be better on the flop.

3.standard

4.good fold

5.standard

6.horrible, fold flop, fold turn

7.bet the flop, turn is meh it looks good on paper but people usually don't fold to those types of raises especially after checking behind on the flop.

8.horrible, your playing into his game

9. I think calling turn/folding to a reasonable river is better.

10. horrible

Hand 10 was pretty odd - combination of my tilt and a mess of an opponent. I was pretty sure he was weak and that my KQ overcards + gutshot were good, and given his $55 bet into a $184 pot I figured I had the odds to call. Pushing for $44 more on the river was an attempt at bluffing the ace, but was entirely tilt as he's obviously not folding to that bet. He ended up calling me down with 88 for a pair of 8s..... I guess I seemed like a mess to him too.

You have a consistent problem of trying to push people off of hands that have shown strength. At these limits, getting CR'ed isn't all that common (even for me, a 30/20). So when they do, you should be hearing sirens. Also, vary the bets a bit. Going pot-pot-pot (or close to it) all the time means you lose the absolute maximum when you don't have to. And it makes some decisions easier: hand 3 is a good example. The reason you would want to bet that much on that hand is to decide the hand quickly: he calls/raises, you're done. The problem in that one is his stack size in relation to your bet: any sizeable raise pretty much puts him all in, so he might as well push that last $20 in there too (which pushes out your good-but-not-great hand). If you wanted to get him all-in, that was the perfect bet size for it.
