3.5x the original raise is 2.10, which is what the second villian did, so would i do 3.5x his raise? that would make it like 7.35 correct?

[/ QUOTE ]No, you started with $10. Shove. Don't leave small amounts behind.

do you think the villian is still calling? he has 2.10 invested and i want him to call another 7.90ish AIPF to go. you dont really want a fold PF when you have KK. he certainly wouldnt be pot committed yet.

thoughts?

[/ QUOTE ]If he is calling a re-raise he is calling a shove. The extra $3 is irrelevent here. He might even be more likely to call shove than something else. No way he will call $4 PF and not $7 (with the stack sizes, I mean).

good point. however, with the hand he had i dont think he was calling a push even though i didnt have much more behind after he called my raise. he happily pushed the flop cause he figured i'd fold to the A high flop.

[/ QUOTE ]You got him to call for 'set value' (he didn't have it) and bluff/shove the flop by raising too small as played. By 'misplaying' the hand (not 3-betting more) you got him to make a huge mistake. I think this is probably the case.

In any case, don't rule out him calling a shove with 66 pre-flop, it is a pair and he will put you on AK. People call me all the time with these hands.

good fold? i dont think i have odds to call and it would seem as though he has a decent PP, maybe AK. flop is so dry that it is hard to think he is doing this with air. i havent committed much of my stack either. im not sure i like my raise size but what do you guys think. i think when i reraised this hand i was in 25NL mode although i havent played any 25NL today so i dont know why that would be.

7.38 for me to call into a into a 13.63 pot. terrible price IMO and i could very well be dominated.
