Hero|UTGA raises to $4, 2 folds, Button calls $4, 2 folds.

Flop: ($5.50) 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)

Turn: ($17.50) A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero|UTGA bets $20, Button calls $20.

River: ($57.50) K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero|UTGA bets $30, Button raises to $174.85, Hero|UTGA folds.

Final Pot: $407.20

IF stacks are normal, this is probably a call, but does the extra 50 bb matter?

I don't see what you are afraid of here? Do you think he slowplayed aces, kings or queens?

This should have been a nice double up for you.

No, Id drop it after thinking about JT...id definitely remember that bet though. Its a big overbet that you are likely behind given his stats...a 1.25 wont make a gross overbet like that without the nuts!

- what is villain's river AF? What is yours?
- Villain may have sensed weakness when you bet less than PSB on river, seeing you PSB flop and turn.
- Did you have any stats on the blinds? If I were the villain, I wouldn't be calling 4xBB UTG raise with TJ if I wasn't getting more implied odds by having 3 or 4 total people seeing the flop (ie having one or more of the blinds calling).
- your SPR is something like 27 here. Gives implied odds to villain for draws assuming you commit.
- You taking the lead on betting with villain calling on flop/turn doesn't give you much read on his hand. Personally, I'd try a C/R on the flop (to see if he bets/calls and better defines his range), and push on turn (to get your money in with best of it).
- also, how is the final pot $407.20? Should be something like 262.35 if you folded right?

Thoughts?

the converter is messed. I dont like c/ring at all because it doesnt build a pot and it allows a free card. i havent read professional nl yet, so i dont know too much about SPR, but i think maybe its time to give it a read. Also Villain is playing halfhis hands, im sure that includes JT : ).

But thanks, good advice.

Well I can't tell I guess b/c of converter but it seems you bet too little on flop and turn.
As played (as far as I can tell) this is a fold, extra 50bb makes a big difference.
