Default Is there any reason to check out Carbon Poker?

I had it on my list of poker sites to visit back when they used the poker.com domain since clearly it would attract lots of fish, but now I don't know anymore. How is the software and game quality there?

I was playing there a few months ago. They offered 4 different reloads in 1 week. All cleared at the league best 1000 points per 10$. You get 3 points per hand that are raked at the smallest levels. Even at .10-.20 the bonus would clear quickly. There were a LOT of fish there....UNTIL they added some lame casino games and had to dispose of Epassporte. When Epassporte left...so did a LOT of players. They do offer some great "freeolls" everyday, for any player who earns enough points! US players are welcome and they offer some fonelink card option as the best option (allegedly) for US players! I have been checking weekly to see if they have any more reloads at 1000/10$ but lately they are all 3000/10$. I also saw on another forum recently that carbon poker is offering RB now! Hope this helps!!

Pros: US players are allowed. The software is excellent, and the game quality is very fishy.

Cons: There are very few players, especially above .50/1.00 NL. They don't offer rakeback and Poker Tracker doesn't support them.

Edited to add: ok maybe they do have rakeback now, as per the previous poster.

Pretty sure they don't allow epassporte products since they have no way of banning their casino games as of yet.

I've played there a bit to get my free nevada jacks.

Pros:

-software is OK compared to some other smaller sites i've played (even resizable tables)
-they seem to hand out their "comp points" on dealt hands although their ToC says contributed only.
-the software has a lot of features that should attract the fish if they ever heard of the site (you can show one card or two, show your cards when you fold in a heads up pot, funny smilies and "chat bubbles", cups are displayed if someone has won a freeroll)

Cons:

-not much action, fixed is almost dead (i have played in a juicy 3/6 game, but that ran only one time i've been on)
-the deposit bonus clears pretty slowly (mine is 5000 points/$10)

I think the site is pretty awesome if you play 0,25/0,5 fixed, because there are some tables and you get a lot of points at this limit (3x as many as NL25 ).
