Enrolled agent vs CPA?

After looking into this how much more can a CPA do vs an EA (enrolled agent) I am a financial advisor and prepare taxes on the side but it seems like an EA has as much power as a CPA and could represent clients out of state.

Are there any enrolled agents here?
