How about doing a stronger logo, but without the shading. Kind of blood red, keep it simple for easier upkeep?

Something like this? A lot of people are having trouble will all of the angles and redcoloring IMO

Oh, and it wouldn't hurt to have a reference photo so people know where the hell to draw when we have to start from scratch.

For the sake of the spirit of Drawball, I'd prefer to have some style to whatever we put up.

That's fine, but what we've been doing isn't the most robust of designs as far as upkeep goes.

Case in point:

We really don't have a reference AND right now we're clearly getting hit too often to keep a more complex design. We don't even have our letters up and already people are trying for the 3D thing.

I mean I like the shading, it looks great when done properly, but it's pointless if we can't keep our logo on the drawball to begin with.

The outline of the V doesn't look thick enough.

Fixed (almost) the V, missed some green parts because of ink shortage. Now gogogo 4 and L.

people please stop using anything but black until ALL black is perfect.. this is by far the more efficient way to rebuilt. Shades then white background comes later
