To bet against Tiger Woods in any game since he got his old swing coach back is a recipe for disaster. ERvery other golfer in the world gets knock-kneed and collapses when he starts to move up on the leaderboard. This kid has such a huge psychological edge over his opponents and all sports are 90% mental. I will continue to bet Tiger Woods at even numbers and it'll continue to be a profitable venture for me.

I would bet your friend as much as you can. There is maybe a 1% chance Mickelson finishes better than Tiger...can I bet him too?

[/ QUOTE ]

i wouldnt say 1 percent, but i'd bet tiger at 2 to 1 at least (maybe 3 to 1) vs phil this week....if he's giving you 1 to 1, hop on for max

This is 100% false, he's never come from behind on the final day of a Major, not ever.

It's when Tiger has a 3-shot lead going into the final day and the next 9 guys know they may have to shoot a 65 on Sunday at Augusta to pass him - they either flame out or just try to hold on for second.

Tiger's a beast. I wouldn't short Tiger, especially not at Augusta.

In his last 10 PGA starts, he won 8 times. That's an 80% win rate.

[/ QUOTE ]

but he's 1 for 3 in his last 3, and just hasn't been all that impressive this year.

his last four starts, I'd take it:

Jan 25 - 28 Buick Invitational (PGA) 66-72-69-66 15-under $936,000 1st
Feb 21 - 25 WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship (PGA) - - $130,000 T9th
Mar 15 - 18 Arnold Palmer Invitational (PGA) 64-73-70-76 3-over $51,058 T22nd
Mar 22 - 25 WGC-CA Championship (PGA) 71-66-68-73 10-under $1,350,000 1st

Tiger has won 3 of his last 6 at the Masters. When you think about golf the odds seem unreasonable, but Tiger has changed everything. 7:5 sounds about right.

You can say he didn't close impressively at Doral, but that is really being nit picky.
