11K Post....time to update

I screwed up NYE and got alcohol poisoning. Moral: Don't mix everclear to the point you don't taste it. I pretty much was for [censored] the next few days and what brain power I had was needed for my other job (handicapping college football games).

Anyway, I'm back to playing and
everything is going great, except I tilted and dropped 8 buyins in 500 hands the other night [img]/images/graemlins/blush.gif[/img] I squeeze-raised preflop with 98s knowing the initial raiser was a maniac moron. He pushed, I called. 98<94 for 230BB.......ARGH. I was not happy.

The tilt really screwed me over. I should be up and on progress. Instead, I'm a week behind now.
I'm going to be done with 50NL by the end of the month for sure

The games are more difficult than 25NL, but definitely beatable

Plus, 100NL is actually a notch weaker than 50NL fullring from most people's experience

technically, poker is my primary job. It's pretty odd to not take a primary job serious for 3-4 months per year though. College football consumes me.

I'm slightly off pace

I am pwning 100NL right now. Ok, not pwning, but doing admirably well.
I struggled to get through 50NL. My leaks were exposed. I played 25k hands of about breakeven before I recognized and made some chages. My 6max mentality of raising 87s from anywhere wasn't going to work at full ring UTG at PStars. I did a few review sessions with other posters who helped me out tremendously (ty guys). I was close to getting a coach, but it turned out all I really needed was some feedback. I know enough to pwn 50NL. The next 20k or so hands of 50NL was an absolute slaughter. I dominated with a vengence and easily won over the 25 buyin requirement I set to move up.

100NL has been more of the same. I'm doing just over 4PTBB/100. That isn't bad for 12 tabling. I'd still like to get it up over 6 for a reasonable period before bumping to 200.
The odd thing is that I think I might be able to get to $100/hr just at the 100NL level. I need to stop spending so much time on sports blogs and forums. I need to become a machine. I will become a robot poker professional. I'm actually preparing for a $20k month in March. I've been studying past threads, books, and other readings. I've worked on the psych aspects of my game. I'm motivated as my other funding source is drying up rapidly.

I play a 16/11/2 very positionally aware style these days. I still feel like my turn and river AF are too low. My button is about 34/26. The early positions are much different. For bettor or worse, I don't defend the BB as much as I previously did. I am ferocious. I will eat your heart out if you are at my table. I will eat your children. I am a monster.

If you wunna talk about runnin good- jus ask me. Feb 11-20th i converted a $26 satellite token and $1215 of rakeback into $16.5k, starting at .50/1. Quite sicko.
