Re: Aces in the $50k
Against any decent player, I can fold given the action on this flop. Against a bunch of spewtards and donkeys, get it all-in.

Re: Aces in the $50k
the preflop raise way too small. u're giving them bargain barn odds to crack you. make the 8 people behind you pay to crack your aces... and also to narrow down their hand range
i don't like the cbet size of the flop... pot it up to 2000.... so that way the cutoff is calling 3/4 of his remaining stack instead of onebumping and not being all in. then if the UTG comes over the top and 4bets your 2k w/ his remainging 7000 you can almost be sure you found the trap. weak is supposed to be strong... but what happens when people have no clue of what's what to begin with.... i think you have to pay this one off cuz any decent hand and player should have RR'd you PF |

Re: Aces in the $50k
This would be a standard spot for me to get it in. But after I went back and looked at the math it seemed a bit closer.
I think that the UTG limp/call pf and check/shove on the flop tightens his range a little with the tightest being 33,QJ,99,AT,T9 (I didn't put TT in because of pf action). CO flat called pf and then did a weird min. raise leaving only 245 behind. But given the action in front his range can be a bit wider IMO. AT,KT,QQ-99,QJ,T9. So stove puts it like this against these ranges: equity win tie pots won pots tied Hand 0: 31.153% 31.15% 00.00% 429567 0.00 { AdAh } Hand 1: 36.917% 34.36% 02.56% 473747 35289.00 { 99, 33, ATs, QJs, T9s, ATo, QJo, T9o } Hand 2: 31.930% 29.37% 02.56% 404989 35289.00 { QQ-99, 33, ATs, QJs, T9s, ATo, QJo, T9o } We are offered basically 2-1 or 33% equity to call on the flop. However, the ranges calculated are the tightest I can imagine. Any added hands (except TT for UTG) and this swings it our way. I still think it's a call for that reason. |

Re: Aces in the $50k
We may have the math to get it in here...but can't we find a better spot? If we fold, we still are in good shape. If we lose, we are down about 50% of our stack. I don't like to pass up spots to keep building a stack, but this is not the spot....that unless we have a read that these guys are donks.
Also agree with the preflop raise being too small. I hate multiway pots with rockets..... |

Don't fold spots that are +cEV in none satellite tournaments when it's not the FT. |
