general question about fish and isolation
OK so you have a turbo fish in early position and decent tag in the CO and you are on the button.
The fish limps as always, and the tag makes an isolating raise in late position. There's a very good chance if you squeeze here you will take it down but you will miss the chance of playing in a raised pot with the uberfish. How do you play: AA AQs 89s 45s 44 in this spot? |

Re: general question about fish and isolation
AA- 3bet every time
AQs- 3bet usually unless raiser is very tight 89s- A mixture of call and 3bet. More likely to just call if fish is so bad he often limp-calls 3bets. Folding isn't that terrible either I guess. 45s- Mostly might just fold. Sometimes might call. 3bet less often unless I think I'm unlikely to be called 44- Call most of the time. Maybe very occasionally 3bet |
