Default $16 set on river against unknown

Hey. No stats on opponent. On flop he tanked and then called and checked turn fairly quickly,I think a decent amount of the time this is a draw. Value in raising the riv? I feel worse hands don't pay me off and he can have JT here. FWIW I called and it set up another hand absolutely beautifully and I doubled through him. I think most will say too passively played.

i think you need to raise river, as he might show up w/ two pair. sometimes he has teh nuts, but i think i just pay the man if he does. i think i like a cbet of a little more as well. curious about other thoughts.

thoughts on open folding the 88 utg?

I think I was so shocked from hitting set on riv that I just made the phil hellmuth instacall shove chips in middle kinda call and forgot I had some behind. The play led to to a hand where I doubled through and play the hand the same way except shove riv... I think bvb w/ my QT TT5 flop, he checks, I bet, he calls. Turn J, he checks, I check behind. Riv A, he bets 800, I shove, he tanks and calls.

6 handed and decent stack for the blinds, I figure I have decent maneoveurability (sp I know...) w/ 88 utg here. Limp is better?

Wow open folding 88 6 handed doesn't sound good at all, i think raising standard and limping are both fine, we have got some space here, although id raise 300 here to discourage call from bb especially.

As for the river i guess its a raise when only TJ is a hes logical holding you should be afraid of, and well, he would pay of with many worse hands, hes big stack and can "afford" that.

I would open fold it with a <15BB stack.
Raising with this stack is fine.
Not raising/pushing the river is a mistake IMO, one that I make also a lot.
I don't know why I don't raise at such a spot, I think I see monsters under my bed and just want the pot quick without further play.
Anyone else that has/had this leak and has a good reason for it?

Folding with less than 15BBs is a leak, you should be shoving there. The raise with your stack is good here and definitley shove this river he will pay you off with sooo many hands other than a straight.
