Default $27 Bubble steal or check down to eliminate?

Hey, is shoving pre better here than flatting. BTN is not a regular and am not sure why he's limping here (I suspect a biggish hand). BB is not mucking to shove (if he mucks, btn mucks and he's messed). What I want to avoid here is shoving, BB calls and BTN calls with a hand that dominates me (which I think is probable).

I'd definitely check it down here rather than betting Button out of the pot.

Preflop, with blinds that big I am shoving it, if he's limping a monster hand than so be it. Against a non-regular this is a marginal hand that will get out super quick to a shove much more often than a monster looking for action IMO.

I actually like folding preflop here.
This way you keep the BB small and the pressure on him.
This also allows you to openshove ATC into CO and BTN in the next 2 hands as the BB instafolds. (if BTN hasn't already knocked him out)

that magic scenario requires bb to double up now and fold sb, hes not gonna instafold sb, why would he do that, he would have 2k stack and pretty desperate situation even if he wins. Anyway i like preflop push since its like 500 to win 1500 pot , that limper has to fold, and after we do that and win we are chipleaders.
If we lose however we get to the situation "A" where bb triples up which you like so much, lol still don't understand why would he go insta fold with 2k stack.

And no i don't think he can fold hes bb and dream of btn calling and losing here if you push.
