I took a shot at the .50/1 game when .25/.50 slowed down . The button was 56/3/.8 after 60 hands. Other guy was an unknown, 30/10/1.5 but very very few hands.

Full Tilt Poker
Limit Holdem Ring game
Limit: $0.50/$1

Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is SB with 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
UTG calls, CO calls, Button calls, Hero calls, BB checks.

Flop: 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (5SB, 5 players)
<font color="#cc0000">Hero bets</font>, BB folds, <font color="#cc0000">UTG raises</font>, CO folds, <font color="#cc0000">Button 3-bets</font>, <font color="#cc0000">Hero caps</font>, UTG calls, Button calls.

Turn: 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (8.5BB, 3 players)
<font color="#cc0000">Hero bets</font>, <font color="#cc0000">UTG raises</font>, <font color="#cc0000">Button 3-bets</font>, Hero calls?

Should I cap because I'm calling no matter what? I'm starting to think I have some kicker problems. I'm never folding. Ever.

I usually muck this preflop.

Button's aggression is a little worrisome given his low AF. Although it is a small sample size, flags and warning bells usually go off in my head when a really loose passive player starts betting.

I think I cap the turn and hope I fill up on the river.

If you do not improve on the river, I'm slowing down and just calling a bet (hopefully it's just one).

Really fold PF? I don't fold anything preflop getting 9-1. I personally call with this hand getting 7-1 though.

Also, I have never played this low before. So that may have an impact. Right now in the sb I'm folding to steal 83.5% and my vpip in sb is 39%. Small sample, little over 8k.

Tossing this preflop wouldn't be a bad plan until you get a little more comfortable postflop. After you start to get the hang of playing poker down here again, I could see completing here.

I think you just call on the turn, and I'm not thrilled w/ the flop cap, either.

I'm not uncomfortable playing postflop, I've adjusted.

Why don't you like the cap? My hand might be best, but I definitely have equity, unless I'm going up against a set.

i just call the flop 3-bet. at best you're going 3-way to the turn, and your pair+oesd does not have an equity advantage when button 3-bets the flop.

on the turn, you're certainly behind, so it is completely pointless to cap. call and check fold the river unimproved, but you dont have to fold.

i think it's quite possible that button is playing AA-QQ retardedly, but it's UTG that we are worrying about.
