High school reunions: will you go to yours?

That might be a fun game

1- I know of one kid who has came out since, it wasn't a shocker
2- One kinda smart tall blonde girl who was either going to end up fat or like a knockout wen the good way and then married this dude in our class that I'm pretty sure she never spoke to in HS (or at least they were from the same cliques at all)
3- I don't think anybody that I can recall from my class is dead. Our Vice Princepal is, and nobody is really broken up about that in the least, because she was a legit bad person.
4- This I don't know, beyond a few forrays through myspace.

i graduated 5 years ago, and 2 guys in my class already died. one in his sleep and they other got lost backpacking in alaska and fell off of a 1000 foot cliff

edit: there were 124 kids in my graduating class

High school was a good time for me. I had a lot of fun, got laid a lot, had some great friends, was one of the "popular kids," lettered in several sports, and did fairly well overall, considering how difficult the entire socialization process is (in retrospect).

All of that said, I would sooner scrape all of the skin off of the top of my head with a cheese grater and wear a hat soaked in grain alcohol before I would attend a high school reunion.

10 yr reaunion coming up this year. I'll go if I'm around.

the wife has determined that we will be going. So I'll be headed to my 10th in a month or so, as one of the guys that got fat and married someone from the class (although we didn't get together until after school was done.

I have however obtained dispensation to have the friends over first so we can all show up somewhat hammered, and then finish getting wasted and being an ass to all the people I don't give a [censored] about. If not for my wife you couldn't drag me to this with 10 horses.

This thread reminded me that I missed my 5 year a couple years ago without even noticing. I'll probably go to my ten year if I remember and have nothing better to do. Thing is, whenever I go home to my parents I see like 1/2 my class (450 people) at the bars when I go out or when I visit friends, and anyone I don't see I don't really care about anyway, so I'm in no rush. If I hadn't stayed in touch with a couple of good friends I'd probably be more interested in going to get the juicy gossip.
