Default Caps at AP and UB now in effect

Just a reminder to all that the 30% Caps for Absolute Poker and UltimateBet kicked in yesterday.

This applies to all players including existing players who may have been on a higher rate before.

As with Full Tilt, any affiliate offering players higher rates are in breach of the T&Cs and will be penalised accordingly, finally resulting in the affiliate account being terminated (and their players losing out).

Please check with your individual affiliate regarding whether your Absolute Rate wil be increased. We will be increasing our base rate for everyone from 28 to 30%. I am sure this will be the case for most affiliates listed here

Best wishes to all for 2007

Kind regards

I have seen at least one affiliate here mention grandfathering UB%'s... can you confirm that any affiliate doing so, would be in violation of the FT Affiliate agreement?

Ya we had mentioned that we would grand father in old %'s, It's quite possible I missed that language about having to lower UB's old %'s down to 30%, if that is the case we will comply with the new rules.

Yep, we checked this with AP/UB and they have said that all existing higher deals will need to be reduced to 30% to avoid abuse of the new schemes

best wishes

Same here...UB and AP are now 30% (as of January 1st) for all new and existing RakeBacks.com players. No need to send an email, as all rates go into effect automatically.

Best Regards,

So if I have this straight, the state of rakeback for major sites looks something like this?...

No Rakeback: Stars, Party
30% Cap: UB, AP, Crypto, Prima
27% Cap: FT
No Ads: Bodog

Please feel free to correct me, and/or add any other major sites with caps or no ads that I didn't list...
