considering moneymaker and hachem referenced the movie in talking about getting into poker.

on a totally unrelated note: how many drum majors did the move drumline create?

How is it that a box office bomb that almost no one saw gets credited with the poker boom? If it hadn't been made Moneymaker and Hachem would have referenced The Cincinnati Kid or California Split. Not saying Rounders wasn't the best poker movie ever, but come on, its a cult flick.
