I think the most important question you can ask yourself is whether you would have played the hand the same way if the villain wasn't a jerk. I often find myself second guessing myself and pulling unorthodox moves against people who rub me up the wrong way.

As said above, I think the min raise is a really good move, the turn maybe slightly off.

Min raise looks like the best line IMO, if shorty is willing to complete pre, it would be really stupid of him to fold to the min raise if BTN is calling.

You should really be looking to check this own, there isn't much point betting this turn, as you are wanting shorty out the game/hand this would be best done vs. 2 opponents. if a diamond does fall on the river, against a loose moron id prob instashove to making it look like a bluff and hope fully he would come along with any Q.

I figure SB can have pretty much ATC here and doesn't have to have a pair and BTN may fold some pairs that are ahead of me.

Checking down is ok though, I just figured if I'm beat (against either of the 2) I still have a lot of outs. I guess I was being too aggro.
