Default 5-10NL Trips facing CR & more Pressure on turn

Live 9 handed.
Hero has 2200 Villain covers. Villain hasn't really gotten out of line, but a little quirky. Likes to overbet the pot often. Hasn't had to show down too many hands.

Hero is on button w/ 67o.

Pre-Flop: All limp, hero limps, SB completes, Villain in BB checks.

Flop(90): 7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
Checks to Hero who bets 50, Fold, Villain CRs to 150 folds to Hero who calls.

Turn (390): 3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
Villain bets 600 hero?

Hero is running into 22 or a another 7 most of the times. As you have a very weak kicker, I can't see any other seven you would beat, even 72 / 73 just filled up. Guess he's rather not playing 74 or 75. Is something like 88 possible and he wanted to protect his hand by c/r the flop? Can't see that.
I fold preflop or, as hand played, I fold on turn..

Whenever a good player wants to play for stacks in an unraised pot (preflop), I start getting suspicious. He could have anything, he sees the pair on the board, and he is betting big anyway.

If you had X7 where X = A-J, I would be more tempted. As it is, you are likely drawing slim.

Could villain play a flush draw this way? He's been habitually overbetting the pot but hasn't shown down a lot of hands, so you probably don't have much of a read on what he's been doing this with. Does he seem aware of how the other players play, particularly you?

Fold on the button preflop for no raise 200BB deep after 6 limpers? No thank you.

Villain got a free look in the BB. He could have any two cards. Obviously, there's a lot more sevens that beat 76 than that don't.
