haven't seen this movie. not really feeling the second pic-- she doesn't look bad, just not hot.

Yeah, I had trouble finding good ones.

You should see the movie, though. It's really good.

Was a good movie. Paltrow is one of those actresses that is pretty, but I have a really hard time ever seeing as hot or sultry. Someone I enjoy seeing/looking at, but never stirs the primal lust response.

When Will Shakespeare was unwrapping Viola in her bedroom, it stirred *something* in me. I didn't ask what it was, I just watched the scene again.

Gwyneth Paltrow as Viola, in Shakespeare in Love:

I apologize for the late entry. I wasn't online much this weekend.

pluses: great character, shows her boobies, quite pretty

minuses: doesn't know her place; dresses like a man

overall: Viola is more lovely than hot, but I like her

score: 7.5

Default Round Four Update

CLOSE game!!!

Tarheel needs to judge Mrs Utah's entry.
Tuq needs to judge VoraciousReader's entry.

That's all we need for Round Four to be complete.

I hear ya sister.

As someone already noted, there is something pretty but not "hot" about Paltrow that I can't quite define. Her persona and characters often seem harmless and not spectacular, like the benign housewife in Seven. While I definitely consider her attractive, she's vanilla to where I don't really feel strongly one way or the other.

score: 7.99

I anticipate an all-Portman submission by competitors in coming rounds as everyone is clearly saving up her roles for the end. Quite impressive strategery IMO.

tarheel,

You seem to have quite an obsession with adultery, and while it seems to fall within the bounds of the rules does seem excessively punitive. After all, the central theme of some of these films is infidelity. Pretty sure I don't endorse the idea but I don't hold it against their characters either.
