Was I wrong to shove on the flop. I figured I had the best hand and didn't want anyone drawing. the table was fairly tight with about 3 seeing most flops. Im thinking my mistake may have been was playing this hand in the first place.

I fold this preflop.

On the flop, you have trips with top kicker. On this board that's not a very strong hand. If you get action, it's probably from flopped full houses (88xy and 87xy are possible holdings), or other trips with straight or flush redraws, which is also very much in your opponents' range, since the flop contains connected cards, and two clubs. I'd check the flop and see what they do. As played, you have to call the shove, of course.

Anytime you flop trips in PLO and there's a coldcaller + a raise behind huge warning bells should be going off. What could the coldcaller be calling with? What could the 3rd player be raising with after all this action on that board? 88xx is a very likely hand for one of your opponents.
