bump

BBB may have nailed it. This is more of a general game texture question, because I don't know how often he fires FF's, or how often he will three-barrel me with a worse hand or even with a better hand.

I figured that he would only three-bet me with 2pr++, and that he wouldn't fire the river 100% of the time with his busted FF's. For this reason, I raised to try to freeze up my equity by charging all his FFs the same amount as his other hands.

However, I'm willing to admit that I'm not 100% confident in my knowledge of the game texture right now, and therefore I'm asking you guys what you think of his likely hands/actions with different hands in his range.

I think your turn raise is interesting, because I think button could very well fold 9x here. I assume we're folding to a three-bet. Not sure about this one.

Just call down. Make a decision if river is a diamond. Unless villain is folding a better hand dont FSDR. This guy is not folding 9x.

This is almost correct...

What I need to know is what will villian CR on this flop?

N, IMO and see if you agree with this. Villian's flop play looks more like a pot building C/R rather than a protection move with TP. If this is the case the question now becomes when is the best time to raise and put pressure on the button and his overcards. If we 3-bang the flop we give button in the area of 6:1. If we raise the turn we cut him down to 4:1 but it's risky to let him see the turn card cheaply.

If villain were TAG then it'd be a better play because a) he may fold nines and b) he may be semi-bluffing and is unikely to bluff the river and c)he's unlikely to semi-bluff 3-bet you.

Against a LAG, none of those apply.
