Default What do you think about my results ?

Hi,

I just wanted to know what you think about my results on sharkscope if you have a search to waste ?

If you dont, here are my av ROIs
30$ 9handed: 30%
20$ 9handed: 27.5%
Other results are not accurate since im not the only one playing lower stakes on this poker account.

Ive recently stopped playing 20 and 30$ s&g since ive had a terrible run (Av roi for 20$ was 70%...) and i didnt feel good losing 100$ a day three days in a row.
The big downswing on my sharkscope profit curve is exactly this.

Well my question is:
What do you think about those results ?
Should i get back to 20,30$ s&g ?
Recently ive been playing 13$ SixHanded only. My Av Profit is probably between 3$ and 5$.
thank you.

1) your quoted results are unusually high

2) because of #1, i assume they are from a small sample

3) even if #2 is false, your results aren't overly important. you need to focus on making the right decisions.

4) sharing a poker account is a massively stupid thing to do. get your friend to use their own. it creates unnessecary risk

5) losing 3-5 buyins is entirely insignificant if #2 was false, and shows a focus on results rather than decisions

participate in this forum

focus on decisions, not on results

the data that you provide is entirely useless in determining how you can play better poker.

the only thing that someone can take from your post is the process that went through your head in selecting that data. you are wrong to think any of it has any value.

you'll find that you'll benefit if you contribute to hand discussions.

Thank you, this answer is way more interesting.
Ok so you think i should get back to 20$ s&g ?

200 20$S&G: I got an Av Roi of about 30%. You can verify on sharkscope.(BinarySmil, Pokerstars)

The account is a family account. My brother and father only play 5$ and 10$ games. We never made a deposit. Started from freeroll on pokerpages (bugsyclub).
Thank you for your advice.

Don't even bother looking at your results until you have atleast a 1000 sample size.

the information you provide (past ROI) is entirely useless in answering this question.

the information you need to consider includes:
a) your bankroll
and
b) your skill

incidentally, in poker, a player's bankroll (assuming no withdrawals) is probably a good proxy for an approximation of their skill.

i suggest that a new player should read the forum, and determine how many buy-ins they would like to have before moving up. I choose the number 30 for myself; others choose 50 or 100 or more.

you should then play at the highest level which you have the number of buy-ins you just selected.

ie, if you decided that you wanted to have 100 buyins, and you had $2,000 in your bankroll, i would suggest that you play the $16s on stars. if you decided that you wanted to have 30 buyins, you should play the $60s.

of course, if you are withdrawing money, other factors need to play into this.

I got a 4K bankroll and my skills are ok i guess.(meaning: im a winning player) Main problem is: I easily get mad when losing more than 50$ for example and i think i start to play bad. Not sure though.
