Default Bluff this river? NL2k

Donīt have HH, sorry, but I try to write it.

$2000 stacks, 10-20 game.

Villian in sb seems Aggressive TAG. No history

Folded to sb who raises to $65, Hero calls from bb, with Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

(Pot: $130)
Flop: 2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Villian bets $90, Hero calls $90

(Pot:310)
Turn: J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
Villian bets $250, Hero raises to 700$, Villian tanks for a long time, and in the end of the time calls $450

(Pot: 1710$)
River: 2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
Villian insta checks, Hero has $1145 left and the villian has about the same. Bet or give up?

I'd give up. You don't have a whole lot more left to shove and the river is the perfect card for him to snap off a number of missed semi bluffs. The only thing that you can really rep is 89 and mayyyyybe a slowplayed 77 but I don't think he folds the river enough because of those hands.

I like it, he can be calling on the turn with a draw if he puts u on a big hand and a lot of 1 pair hands that hed call one barrel with but fold on the river, its unlikely a Tag player would put u on a draw here.

Only thing you fold out on the river is other draws. I like firing $600.

I would say villain thought for so long on the turn because he is snap check calling. If he is competent he realizes that he has to call your river shove, especially on the best river he can see, if he has atop pair hand.
