Default newbie to poker tracker/office/manager

i have never used any of this kind of software before and think its about time i started. i have downloaded poker tracker but it says something like i have to register to store more than 1000 hands in my database.

if im honest i have no idea how to get the best out of this software, i can barely work it at all. iv been looking around poker tracker all morning but still dont have much a idea.

whats the best software to use, preferably a free one to start with. and how do i use it?

any help would be much appreciated.

thanks,

michael.

There's not much in the way of free tracking software.. but PT will pay for itself even in SSNL. Check out the PT forum and do some searches here in Software, you'll find lots and lots of info.

HEM is gonna blow PT outta the water, so you might wanna wait for a couple of weeks before buying.

Theres comprehensive guides available for PT, you can find some links in stickys on the PT forum. Some guides you have to pay for but theres also a lot of free info out there if you dig around.
