200NL | When nits attack!.....other nits!
Villain in this hand is playing very snug. like PFR under 10, VPIP under 15 over about 70 hands. i really havent got involved with him yet (imagine that). He should view me as taggy and not really as nitty as a lot of you guys likely view me. (plz dont tell anyone i dont play 16/13 anymore). I really think this hand might have a simple solution, but i thought i would get a second opinion, because i dont feel like going on aim right now. I was thinking that c/c turn, c/f river UI would be a better line in hindsight, but at the table, my thought process was more like, "HAY I HAS DRAWS I BET".
what do you guys think of my line, and how might you play it different? If he's really nitty I like C/C turn.
As played you obviously have to call the minraise because he's pricing you in. Open shove if you hit a T or [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] obv. |

i would also like to point out that HH converters tilt me, because they dont include the rake and make my bet sizes look really pussy sized in compared to the pot.

goof,
when you c/r ai on this board against this specific player, is it for value, for FE or what? c/c seems superior in this situation. |

goof,
i dont really think that he's really folding many better hands here on the turn. also, i think that balance may be overrated when not playing vs. regulars. |

Re: 200NL | When nits attack!.....other nits!
he would have to be a huge nit to c/c, cause aggro players will have a easy time taking the pot away from you on river with that line.

[ QUOTE ]
(plz dont tell anyone i dont play 16/13 anymore) [/ QUOTE ] What, did you become a total spewtard now? Traitor. Did you fail to notice that you have a COMBINATION OF DRAWS on the turn? As played I think this is ok; you're getting 2:1 to shove on the turn, but I think he has a set a lot and certainly is hardly ever bluffing so your top pair doesn't count for much. If I checked the turn, though, it's ARR IN when he bets. EDIT: ^ = nits, c/c turn wtf you have MORE THAN ONE DRAW AND TAWP PAIR. |

Re: 200NL | When nits attack!.....other nits!
everything is fine up to when your re-raised on the turn...
i see that as either a fold or all-in raise situation as by calling you have half you stack in the pot (committed)...the villain has min re-raised you which always seems a little fishy to me (many times its not i'll allow, i get felted but give felting more)...i would figure i would have 11 outs here...8 for the 2nd nut flush, 2 more for the straight, 1 for the top pair...so i'm about 25% to win if trailing...the pot at this point is the hand is $189, so we have the odds to call for $42...i would push right there if you had not wanted to get all in on this hand, perhaps lower bets preflop, flop, or on the turn would have been in order--so on the flop i would have decided if i am going to go for it... |
