Default Largest stack you\'ve faced at your table?

At Caesars...this past Sun morning...waiting for my ride home to wake up...I sat down at 2/5...

I couldn't help but notice that a guy sitting across from me had a stack of almost $12K at a $500 max buy-in table. Altho I didn't ask, he seemed pretty alert and didn't appear haggard playing for more than 24 hours straight.

What was the largest stack you've had played against at your 1/2 or 2/5 table?

What's wrong with playing against a big stack? You say it like it's a bad thing?

I never said that it was a bad thing. Starving and opting to skip breakfast, I only sat down under the assumption that the other players at the table were terrible contributing to his sizeable stack.

At 1/2 NL, I've sat a table with a $5000 stack. The highest I've had was $2400.

The largest stack I've faced at my table has been about 8, but I can't eat that many pancakes. Sorry, anyway, I played a 3/6 mixed game once where there were 3 tourists with stacks of ~1500. It was an exceptionally fun game.

I was at Wynn in August playing 5/10 and Bob Safai sat down with 45k. I had to ask him how many flags he had which was quite amusing. He was great for the table as it instantly starting playing like a 10-20 / 20-40 game. Bob would always open any pot with a 1k bet with any pair. Good times.

150k. That would be Dan Harmitz when I played against him at 10/25 NL at Grand Sierra Resort.
