Default 50NL: I think I avoid being Stack-a-Donked, but I still don\'t like it

Villain a nitty 17/11/1 reg with a decent wr over several hundred hands.

Overall, I think I dodged a bullet here, which is good, but I am really, really unsure about my bet-sizing throughout, which is bad.

1. Should I raise more on flop - say a full PSB of $14 or $15? Seems to me that would charge draws better than the bet I actually made, but would also risk losing worse K's. I am finding flop raise-sizing a bit problematic at the moment for some reason and seem to be under-raising, so comments appreciated.

2. On turn, I lay villain ~3/1 if he has hh - is that too tight? Fwiw, I believed that betting any more (say $20) pot-commits me, which I really was not crazy about at all. So I bet an amount I could still fold if he c/r me.

3. Anyone call turn?

Afterwards, villain typed AK into chat, but I'm not sure if he was naming my hand or his. I typed "You didn't have AK", but that was end of conversation lol.

Fwiw, I think he has 77/22 here.

Thanks.

Checking back and calling a decent river bet is better than betting the turn, because it widens his range. I'd risk giving a free card to heart draws because he doesn't seem aggro, and probably wouldn't lead a draw on the flop.

I check behind on the turn as well. This just stinks of a set. He called your raise from UTG out of position, so he knows your raising range will be tight and is only calling you with pocket pairs and AK. Since you raised the flop, you're representing AA, KK, or AK. His call indicates that he believes he is ahead of this range. I don't want this dude to make good on his implied odds with 77/22. Check behind on the turn; we need pot control.

readless this is all fine..

flop i would raise slightly more to $12 but w/e. unless you have a read about how willing they are too call with flushes and worse kings this is plenty.

turn bet is standard 2/3P as long as you're folding to action on the river.

however against this player i think you are WA/WB since he probably doesn't have too many drawing hands that you are ahead of - AQ[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], AJ[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]?

IMO some pot control is called for, but I'm unclear on whether calling or raising the flop is better.

I like the hand. I thought the line + bet sizing was fine.
