As long as you have wireless you don't need anything else just follow the nintendo guide it's pretty simple.

The built-in wi-fi is one of the things that Nintendo got absolutely right about this system. Now if only they'll make some online games?

Including it was great, but I feel like they "did it wrong". I had a really hard time getting mine connected, and the quality of the connection is spotty (goes up and down periodically for no real reason). I know a few other people had this problem too, but the majority are probably in good shape.

Download older generation Nintendo/Sega games. Also, a beta version of Opera browser can be downloaded to view the Internets with.

That sounds more like a network connection. Check your Router to make sure it's working correctly. I've never had problems with my Wii's connection on either of the networks I use.

Yeah, it's not that. I can put a laptop right next to my Wii and it works perfect, as does my DS, PSP, etc. I know I'm not the only person that had this problem, as several people in the original Wii thread were complaining about it, but it definitely seems like the majority of people have no trouble connecting. So maybe there's just a few bad units out there and I've got one.
