Maximum ATM cash withdrawal

Hi

Hope there's no problem that I post this in English. (Understand German. Can't write in German.)

Since I'm visiting Germany in a couple of days, I was wondering which banks in Germany allows the largest withdrawals per transaction in their ATMs? More specific, which banks allows (if any) withdrawal of $1.000 (~€6-700) per transaction?

in my experience, the atms here allow much higher withdrawals than those in the US. however, when using my american bank card i am still subject to the limits of my bank ($500/day), and with the conversion rate this is even less (~300-350 euro). so to answer your question i think it depends more on YOUR bank than the bank of the atm you use.

1000 ist the max at most atms.

when you try the postbank it may be only 500, at least the last time i tried it.

deutsche bank lets you withdraw 1k at a time, in 50 euro bills :P lol
