Applebees is legitimately terrible (at least the times I've been there), Fridays is decent, I've never been to Chili's and I've never heard of 99.

[/ QUOTE ]

99 is a New England chain. I've been to the Newport, RI one several times with my family and thought the food was both good and very reasonably priced. Try the Broiled Sirloin Tips which if memory serves were under $10.

My Dad and I used to love this [censored] when I was a kid. I still buy the occasional can, passing over superior grades of jarred / canned cheese dip to do so. Not something I can readily explain my appreciation for.

My all-time favorite guilty pleasure band. Responsible for some Top 40 rockin' hits in the '70s ("The Boys Are Back In Town", "Jailbreak".) Switched to metal disastrously in the '80s. Self-caricature borders on SpinalTap levels sometimes. Regardless, Live and Dangerous! is one of my most listened-to albums. LIZZY! LIZZY! LIZZY!

One, Whataburger is quality fare. Two, I think you could find far more shameful stroke material than Kirsten Dunst in a cheerleader uniform.

I agree with you. I thought that since it's fast food, that it may qualify for "low brow" for this topic. If Outback is considered low brow, then Whataburger is too.
