Default Anyone set Poker Goals?

I am trying to set some goals for myself to advance my poker ability. Anyone set poker goals for themselves so that they can track their progress. I eventually want to have a BR of $10,000, currently at $900. Not sure if I should make them directly related to BR though because of fluxuations. Any ideas?

My current goal is to 4-table 100NL and to accrue a BR/savings of $75,000.00.

It is good to set a goal. The only way to reach such goal it to break each step down to an individual task. Then, break each task down to separate steps. Working with a coach to outline these steps is great way to keep you on track. No one can solve a task like this in one swoop. However, if you break it down to small tasks, you can reach the overall goal.

To constantly improve, and learning to ignore how many BB's/hour I make because I think it focuses my attention in the wrong direction.

Also, I try to clear at least one bonus / month as it does wonders to my BR.

I find that I do worse when trying to meet monetary goals.

If anything set a # of hands or tournaments, not an amount of money.
