I definitely would bet the turn just like you do, cause by checking you miss a ton of value in these mid buy in donkaments. As played i think its an easy fold. Its possible he is really terrible and has 88 or 99 here, but most of the time ur looking at 66,77,a3s,43s,53s,63s, or some other junk that has u crushed

i check this turn every time. the only hand they check back that they would call is if they turned a back door flush draw, and even that usually gets bet by them.... maaaaybe if they're A5.
the only incentive to bet out is if we want to bet/fold instead of getting to showdown which may actually be right based on bluff frequency... i'm just scared someone decides to raise 88 or 99 here cuz duhhhhhh.

So yeah in the end, check turn, prob fold as played

I would check the turn, but I wouldn't fold as played. Villain could have a lower pair or be making a play on the paired low board.

betgo they never do such a small raise with a smaller pair if they put you on overcards they bet bigger to protect. This is trips+ everytime.

I like the turn bet/fold more then check because you protect and get value from worse hands no one really bluffs this board.

Shaun, people bluff this board all the time... this is like the board people bluff the most. They just don't do it with SB's line.

Flop bet is too small. They'll call with basically the same hands if you bet 225 or so, so bet 225 or so.
