It hits a lot of his range and is also scary to a lot of his weaker hands that we might have been able to get lots of value from. Basically the only hands we beat after that turn card that are going to give us any significant action are KJ and QJ, and even then they will now tread carefully. Checking will be the best play on the turn here.
