Default KK fold preflop good?

1-2NL $100max buy-in 9 players

Here's the hand:

Hero ($500)
Villain ($600)

Preflop:

Hero (MP)raises to $10
folds to Villain
Villain (SB)reraises to $25
BB folds
Hero reraises to $50
Villain is all-in for $600
Hero folds (KK)

Easy fold?

Phil Gordon wrote "The fourth raise is always aces."

That said...I don't play a lot of NL but against an unknown, this is in no way an easy fold. But there's not nearly enough information here to give you a real opinion.

With no read, I call and eat a big shitburger if I have to.

I am not folding KK preflop very often.
Probably 1 out of 80000 times.

Folding is horrible, you should gladly call this and be happy since you're getting all the money in pre-flop with the second best starting hand in poker.

Sure, every once in awhile he'll have AA, and you'll only win that about 20% of the time, the rest of the time you're going to be ahead to way ahead.

As to the fourth raise "rule" you don't really have four raises as your min raise just screams reraise me.

With KK you need to be willing to call any amount pre-flop. Some argue that if your read is so good you know the person only makes this play with AA you could fold, but if you know that person that well, then they can bluff you with such a raise.

Only fold AA or KK when winning that pot won't help you, such as in a sat tourny where being 1 or 27 is the same and you don't need the chips to advance.

contrary to most of the micro and small stakes mantra... I believe there are players you can fold KK against preflop. Especially for 250bb.

That being said, you have listed nothing to indicate whether or not you should fold in this case. How has the player been playing? How agressive has he been? Has there been a lot of raise/reraises at this table a lot?

More importantly-- what's with all the weird raise sizing?
