PS3 - how much to sell for?

I went into a Best Buy in Madison today and was told that they had received an unexpected shipment of 34 PS3s. Woohoo! Anyway, I bought the 60 GB version for $599. I want to sell this on eBay. Help me out OOT - I am a complete novice at eBay.

How much do you think I should list this for? (initial bid, buy it now price, reserve price)

How long should I list the auction for? (I thought maybe through the end of the weekend, so people who want one this sale weekend but can't find one buy one, but should it be shorter or longer?)

I looked and it seems the going rate is somewhere around $1000 or so currently. Obviously I'd like to maximize my profit here. However, I have never sold anything on eBay so I have no reliability rating. Also, any tips on avoiding BS bids? Thanks in advance OOT!

It's going to be hard for your auction to stand out with the 1,000,000,000 other PS3 auctions. Just keep it. The demand was greatly overestimated.

I thought they made it so you need a 50 Feedback to sell PS3s?

Probably. Still, they're still selling for more than what I paid.

Surely you know someone with at least 50 feedback

Also, do you guys think the PS3 would be worth more if he kept it until, say, December 20th and sold it locally to someone desperate to get it for their kid? I have no idea how many Sony is releasing and when.

I'm thinking Craigslist. Trying to decide if it's better to try and sell the console now or wait till later. I'm leaning towards trying now - if I get a good offer then great, if not I can always try later.
